Haunted House Concept

(If you couldn't tell by now my professor really had a thing for haunted spaces).

Blending Victorian, Baroque, and Gothic styles to create a dark, lived-in atmosphere inspired by The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor, where shadows and eerie details hint at a hidden, unsettling history.

Inspired by The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor, I redesigned my living room with a subtly eerie aesthetic—a minimally gruesome, lived-in space that feels haunted without being overtly decayed. Blending Victorian, Baroque, and Gothic styles, the room layers rich textures, mismatched patterns, and worn décor to create the sense of a small piece of a larger, shadowy mansion. Flickering lights and shifting shadows play tricks on the eye, hinting at unseen occupants after dark.
