I selected Thorne's E-22: French Provincial Bedroom from the Louis XV period, 18th century, c. 1937, for its intricate wainscoting and bedroom perspective. Initially, with the horror theme in mind, I envisioned an exorcism unfolding in this room. However, once I began transferring my model to Photoshop, I decided to take a more playful approach. Inspired by Stranger Things, I reimagined the 18th-century space in the Upside Down, knowing this direction would present a more exciting challenge in modeling, lighting, texture, and painting.
